Wynter’s Paper: Insanity or Warning? is an exhibition curated by Akeem Balogun for 2023’s 32nd Off the Shelf Festival.
It is set around the short story of the same name by Balogun, which is about an economist whose controversial paper on aging populations sparked national outcry.
Visitors were able to view photos inspired by the writing and then listen to the story.
It was supported by the work of anthropologist Matthew Lariviere and included photography and sound by Wodwo. The story was narrated by storyteller Christina Ramsey and Akeem Balogun.
